The Ashland Local Author Fair is happening Sunday, December 8th at the Ashland Public Library at 410 Siskiyou Boulevard in Ashland, Oregon.
It’s a wonderful event to support local authors. Throughout the library there will be authors with tables set up with their books. From 12 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, come by and introduce yourself, chat with authors, purchase autographed copies of the books, win door prizes, and listen to some inspiring 15-minute talks throughout the day.
Signed copies of books make great holiday gifts.
I’m one of the authors who will be there. I’ll have half a table with my books, bookmarks, book corners, and some nice art cards.
My popular book, co-written with Paul Thomas, M.D., is The Vaccine-Friendly Plan, a readable, friendly, practical, and proven approach to keeping your kids safe and healthy.
The Addiction Spectrum, our most recent book, also makes a lovely gift.
My book, Your Baby, Your Way, is sold out of its third printing right now. Hoping the publisher gets more copies soon.
The Baby Bonding Book For Dads is the perfect stocking stuffer for new parents. (It has such nice photographs of dads and their babies that one reviewer called it soft porn for new moms.)
There are many accomplished Ashland local authors, some who will be at the Ashland Local Author Fair and others who can’t make it this year.
Ashland local authors include:
Ellie Alexander
James Anderson
Valerie Coulman
Kim Griswell
Victor Lodato
Virginia Morrell
Besides the Ashland Local Author Fair, what else is there to do around Southern Oregon? Grab an awesome cup of coffee and a friend to talk about books and writing; check out this cool Shakespeare shop; attend an epic health conference; or go on a family snowshoe at Crater Lake.
