The Halloween parade in Ashland, Oregon is one of our small town’s best traditions. If you’ve never heard of Ashland or never visited before, Ashland, Oregon is a city of some 20,000 residents that welcomes over 200,000 tourists a year; it’s located just 15 miles north of the border with California. We’re known for our pioneer spirit; boho style; amazing food co-op; boutique shopping; outdoor adventures; and our energetic, creative, and award-winning theater productions (Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Oregon Cabaret Theatre).
The Halloween parade is mostly a local event but it also draws people from all around the state. There’s music, dance, and all sorts of awesome costumes.
And Sherlock Holmes.
A pair of Where’s Waldo.
Pippi Longstocking (can you see her braids?).
A flower mama with her baby butterfly.
Ghostbusters, of course.
And a family of cruel cereal killers.
Happy Halloween 2016.
